Join us at our Evening Philosophy Series on Tuesday, May 21 from 7-8:30 PM in Scheer Meeting Room. Humanities Chair Stephen Miller will once again lead parents, friends, guardians, students, alumni and faculty in a discussion entitled "Displacement Problems: Ethical and Existential Issues in Modernity". In a spin on the traditional format of these discussion, Stephen is seeking feedback, critique and ideas related to writing he’s been asked to present at an upcoming retreat titled "Philosophy in Schools and the Public Realm" in Indiana at the end of May.

Inaugurated in Fall of 2015, the Evening Philosophy Series is a chance for members of the Oakwood community to get together and explore topics of importance and interest. The sessions also includes a group of Oakwood alumni who will be joining us virtually from different time zones and countries!

For more information, to RSVP or to receive the {optional} reading email Stephen at smiller@oakwoodfriends.org. Join the conversation virtually with this Google Hangout code:  meet.google.com/xfj-zfuq-sof
