Stephen teaches Philosophy part-time at Marist College.  Before coming to Oakwood Friends School, Stephen taught at Dutchess Community College, Dutchess Day School and two public high schools in Brooklyn.  Stephen lives with Anna Bertucci and their two sons Soren (class of 2025) and Oskar (class of 2027).

Additional Affiliations: Stephen serves as the President of the United Nations Association Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter. Stephen is on the Executive Committee and Treasurer of PLATO (Philosophy Learning and Teaching Organization). Stephen serves on the Ethics Board of the town of Poughkeepsie.
