Stephen teaches Philosophy part-time at Marist College. Before coming to Oakwood Friends School, Stephen taught at Dutchess Community College, Dutchess Day School and two public high schools in Brooklyn. Stephen lives with Anna Bertucci and their two sons Soren (class of 2025) and Oskar (class of 2027).
Additional Affiliations: Stephen serves on the Executive Committee and as Treasurer of PLATO (Philosophy Learning and Teaching Organization). He is also the Associate Chair of the Committee on Pre-College Instruction, American Philosophical Association. Stephen serves on the Ethics Board of the town of Poughkeepsie
