How long have you been playing soccer?
I have been playing since my freshmen year of high school at Oakwood Friends School. Before I came to school here I wasn’t involved much with sports.

What are your thoughts about the team and having a leadership position on the team?
I love all of my teammates. They are great and are very supportive on and off the field. We are pretty much a big family and that is why I was very honored to have been selected by my teammates to be one of the captains on the soccer team this year.

What were your expectations going into the season?
I thought we weren’t going to be as good as we have been in previous years because we lost a lot of skilled players to graduation and so there was a bit of uncertainty going into the season.

What made for such a successful season ending with the championship win?
It was defiantly the team’s communication skills on and off the field. We had great chemistry as a team and friends. Also our coach, Megan, really worked hard to help us tune our skills and improve. We owe a lot to Megan for her commitment and dedication to make us better players.

How does it feel to be a part of OFS history?
It feels amazing! I could not ask for a better way to end my soccer career. On top of that, I was named team MVP so when the season ended I felt like I was on top of the world!
