Summer College Prep Program Offers Socially Distant Opportunities

Oakwood kicked off its annual summer college prep workshop with new College Counselor Haniya Mee at the helm offering a socially distant program for college bound students.
Rising Senior and 2020-21 Co-Clerk Ila Kumar Published in Friends Journal

The recent edition of Friends Journal included the writing of rising senior and Oakwood's 2020-21 co-clerk Ila Kumar. Ila's writing was also recently featured in The Lily, a publication of the Washington Post, for its “Dear future self” high school essay contest. Friends Journal, whose mission is to communicate Quaker experience in order to connect and deepen spiritual lives, has readership located in all 50 states and 43 foreign countries.
