Student Activities
Student Activities have a clear connection to Oakwood Friends School's Mission. Weekly opportunities are offered for students to engage in activities that nurture the spirit, the scholar, the artist, and the athlete in each person. In addition to countless fun day trips and events, on any a given weekend, students can also take part in rewarding community service trips working with animal shelters, homeless shelters, children hospitals, and elderly homes. Because of our great location, our students enjoy wonderful weekend activities ranging from local events to day trips to New York City, as well as a surplus of beautiful State Parks. Weekend activities include community service, shopping trips, movies, visits to museums, amusement parks, sporting events, local theatre productions, concerts, outdoor adventures, hiking, rafting, athletic events, and much more.
