How will you be getting to school?
Oakwood draws a diverse group of families from all over the world, the Hudson Valley, and it's surrounding areas. Some student live here on campus seven days a week for ten months out of the year. Some stay on weekdays and commute home for the weekends. While some students live locally and travel to and from school everyday. Whatever your location or preference is, we can accommodate you.
Do you live in one of the following school districts? Bus transportation is provided for day students free of charge by your home district. Please select your appropriate district busing form below and submit to your home district's transportation office in order to ensure your child will receive bus transportation from your district.

Oakwood also contracts private buses for families living outside of the above district areas that pick-up & drop-off students at centralized stops on both sides of the Hudson River. Currently our private buses serve the following locations: Woodstock, Kingston, Highland, Rhinebeck, Stone Ridge, Rosendale, New Paltz.
There is a $1,500 annual fee to utilize this service.

Do you live along the Metro-North corridor?
Our school is registered with the Metro North Railroad’s Mail & Ride program. What does this mean? Students who choose to commute daily by train are provided with a special monthly student commuter pass by Oakwood to ride the train at a significant discount. The discount for being a student rider is a 33% off of whatever the standard monthly commuter pass cost would be from your designated stop. Oakwood provides a daily bus shuttle to pick-up and drop-off our students at the Poughkeepsie train station. Students should ride the train that arrives in Poughkeepsie at 8:07am daily.
